I'm a Wisconsin Great Lakes girl, who, at a young age, also became a fierce downhill skier and mastered the Most Extreme Black Diamond runs across some of the highest mountains in the U.S.
Became a Paramedic in my early twenties and later was on the frontier of Pharmacogenomics testing as one of the Founders and Vice President of ProPGX Inc.
In my 30s and 40s I traveled over One Million Miles across the U.S.A., sometimes on the back of a Harley, most times in a big truck.
We ran from the "Finger of God" tornado at our ranch in Oklahoma ("We've Got Cows!!!!" ~The Movie Twister) to a curtain of fireballs falling from the sky in the desert of Arizona.
We rode out the Northridge Earthquake and were surrounded by the wildfires in Southern California, and touched the Northern Lights every chance we got!
I remember in 1990 when my first screenplay Timeless Vision was handed directly to the late Gary David Goldberg (UBU Productions, Family Ties, Spin City, 2x Golden Globe, 2x Emmy, Peabody Award Winner).
FUNNY STORY
How I actually got my screenplay into Gary's hands.
The hard copy of Timeless Vision traveled from my hands here in Wisconsin, to my ex-husband's hands (who lived in So Cal) to his cousin's (President of A&M Records) hands, to his ex-girlfriend's hands, who worked on one of Gary's sitcoms at Paramount.
A few months later Gary called me from Hawaii while on his honeymoon and we talked for 2 hours!
He said my screenplay was "One of the best first drafts he had ever read," Stating that I had a particular eye for camera direction. He couldn't wait to meet with me when he returned from his honeymoon in about two months.
All the stars were aligned! This 32yr old single mom of 12 years was sitting on the moon with a feeling I had never felt before, accomplishment & acknowledgment. Then life happened!
An excellent story for another time, but one thing is for sure, I have no regrets!
Recently an Award-Winning Hollywood Producer/Director critiqued my body of work...she said, "Your screenplays are so elevated and evolved and if Nora Ephron (Director of Sleepless in Seatle, You've Got Mail, Julia Julia, When Harry Met Sally, Silkwood) was still with us, you and her would get real close! What do you envision for your screenplays?"
After being so humbled by her critique and amazing compliment, I replied, "Success for me would be making a movie that touches all of your senses and gives you an everlasting memory that forever stays in your heart and mind."

Versatile and a true visionary, I am also one of those unique writers who can take a word, a phrase, a title, or a lyric of a song, see it, expand it, and write an original screenplay about it in different genres. I have also started writing music lyrics for some of the movies I have written which can also be viewed here in the Pitch Portal.

My everyday joy now lies in the next movie I write.
I am also considering producing and directing two of my films, Dreamlifer and The Eyes of Loyal.
